ignition switch connector
Will the connector off of a 67-72 C10 fit the ignition plug for a 60-66? the connector looks the same, i just want to make sure before i buy one. I tried looking for a connector for my '65, but nothing was coming up.

Re: ignition switch connector
try www.repairconnector.com.
I looked there and their listing is '67-'93 for dash mounted ignitio switches. Good picture of it, too, looks quite different. If your housing is good, they have the correct replacement terminals, that work in the housing. I'd double check with them, they have alot of hard to find pieces and the prices are reasonable. Re: ignition switch connector
I see what your saying about my plug being in good condition, just replacing the termnials and wires. I may have to go that route.

Re: ignition switch connector
I don't know of anyone that reproduces that plug. So i always save old wiring harnesses that i find si that i can have the right connectors when i need them. However I recently discovered that the early 60s impala switches have the same pinout. Perhaps there is an ignition switch connector marketed for the impalas? Just a thought.

Did you ever find the right pigtail? I'm trying to find one for my 66. What if I just switched out the ignition switch for a 67 and bought that pigtail?

Re: ignition switch connector
You might want to verify that a '67 ignition switch will fit the '64-'66 dash hole. If you have the correct plug for your '66 ignition switch all you need is the Packard 56 style wire connectors. Those can be found at NAPA but they are stupid expensive there last time I had to buy some. Here is one of several listings on ebay.
