rear fender lip measurements 55'
ok so i bought a new rearend for my 55 its out of a 2000ish camaro the wms-wms is 64"...no the for the fun, im trying to order new wheels and tires right now and i wanna make sure my tires wont rub the inner lip of the fender does anyone know the measurement from the lip to lip? i found a calculator that tells you clearances but i still need that last measurement. the wheels are 17x8 with a 4.75 back space and the tire is a 255/50/17 any help is appreciated and pix of that yours running if you happen to be using the same rearend

I believe the factory wms to wms is 62" yours is wider then stock. You'll most likely wind up with deep back spacing to keep the wheels centered in the wells.
Don't buy wheels & tires until you have the fenders on the truck and the axle installed. Then take careful measurements. Factory axle you can use a 8" wide rim with 4" back space without problems on the rear.
