hey az 68, how ya doin?
i was planning on going tothe 23rd, but i think my plans have been bit by ole murphy, i think the carrier bearing is going out on ole spot, picked up a bad vibration on wednesday, it was only at high speed, thought i had a fouled plug, kinda felt like that, pulled them all this morning and checked them over, all looked good, drove it to work this afternoon and at about 60 it came back, but on the way home with the windows up (turned off the hillbilly ac) i could hear an intermident grinding from behind the cab, sounded just like when the last one went out. so my plans have been temporarily put on hold, i'll have to give chuck a call in the morning, try and work out something. as for the pavillions, it's still on. just let me know a time and a place. take it easy, i'll give you a call tommorrow. allan

I can't make it on the April 6, my wife keeps insisting I go to my nephews wedding. I told I would go next time, but she is not buying it.

Hey Blazer Six Shooter,
I think the truckin' deal ain't 'til like Oct. or even Nov....Well let me know...I need a reason to get down there again....being that I didn't get there for the Checker/Shuck/Kragen nationals back in Feb. like I wanted to...I had a Blast in 2001 at the Drags... Bryan in So.Dak P.S. How far does everyone live from I-17 and 101...??? ------------------ Bryan in South Dakota -67 CST originally a 327-4bbl(missing)...w/TH400 w/AC,PS,PB,3pc bucket seat, small window,LWB. orig. drk blue w/blue interior. needs serious restoration -67 CST(plain janer) 283/MT LWB -2000 Silverado 1/2ton 2wd x-cab w/4th door ***future projects*** A 67/68 CST,SWB,350/TH350,Lowered 5/7, rollin' on 17's, not air bagged.using above listed 67 CST (janer)

From I17 and 101? Well, the 101 is maybe two miles from my house, tops...but that's the 101 as it runs by Ray and Chandler roads, at the very end of it on this side. I'm probably 5 miles south of US60; I'm very rarely much past the intersection of US60 and I10, so to be honest, I don't know about how far I am from the 17, heh.

Hey Project1970, You just take the 101 straight north to Indian Bend Road. It is maybe 12 miles or so north. You get off the 101, and make a left. There will be a McDonalds on the right and you can't miss all the cars.
