91 Suburban 4wd Steering Questions? Wandering?
I am in need of some help. I have installed a new steering box and stabilizer because it seemed worn out and felt like truck was all over the place. Didnt seem to help a whole lot. What else should I check? This is my first four wheel drive so not real familiar with what wears out, or if thats just the way they are. I was thinking about replacing the pump because sometimes it steers easier than others and also getting a front end alignment. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Rag joint or coupler from the column to steering box to start with. Both rod ends of the drag link (connection from pitman arm to steering arm) and both rod ends of the tie rod (knuckle-knuckle connection).

Re: 91 Suburban 4wd Steering Questions? Wandering?
I just replaced all the ball joints, tie rods, and drag link assembly on my 3/4 ton. Made a world of differance considering the tie rods fell apart while trying to seperate them from the steering knuckles. Also replaced the front axle u-joints while I was in there.
