SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

Beautiful looking, low mileage Cheyenne Super. I watch this seller often. He mostly sells really nice stuff and gets top dollar. It'll be interesting to see what he gets.

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

After a closer look, the SPID looks like a reproduction...

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

The SPID is obviously not original...he would have been better off without one. It is a very nice clean truck.

X2.
Super clean truck, that I would like to own.
Those "Super" emblems centered under the Cheyenne 10 fender emblems would drive me crazy.
I'm weird like that.
ha.

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

Beautiful truck. Yea, the SPID looked wokny to me as well. Don't get me wrong, for the right price I would buy that truck in a heartbeat, paint over the light olive with white, and drop the entire body on my 3/4 ton 4x4 frame

And swap out the auto for my 4 speed granny low transmission

But that's just me...

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

Makes you wonder about the correctness of some of the other vehicles in-stock. Turning a LeMans into a GTO or say a 6-cylinder rag top 69 Camaro into a pace car and selling them as such is fraud in my opinion. The cab on this truck is not from a Cheyenne but it is a clean build - just not the genuine article.

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

Well, if it's got a fake SPID and he's advertising it as a "RESTORED 72 SUPER CHEYENNE" when it's not, then I'd really have to wonder how honest the claimed odometer reading is.

Like I said earlier it is a long way from correct. Probably doesn't have the door dust seals either.

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

Lists upper and lower molding part of super package and did not get listed. My guess custom deluxe conversion due to location of super emblems

Re: SUPER clean C10 on E-Bay

There is really no point in trying to decode or determine what the SPID should be. As far as I'm concerned the only believable information as to the original configuration is the wheelbase and probably the series. For those that might be unsure of how the SPID should look, here is an actual Atlanta built 72 Cheyenne Super 10 SPID.
