shocks

Good evening
I bought a pair of new monroe magnum 60 shocks part number 6908 at an auction today for $2.50. Does anyone know if they might be the right ones for my 1966 c20 on the rear? Lowell

Re: shocks

Use the cross reference function on the Monroe (or rockauto) site to check the specs, and what they're for.

Thanks guys
I can't seem to find any of those cross references. I'll call my old parts store tomarrow. They still have books. Lowell

For that price, I'd compare them, side by side with originals; compare with both fully extended--then fully compressed. If same, or even just close, I'd try them & feel their performance. If good feel, I'd use 'em! You don't want them "bottoming", in OR out!

The measurments were almost exact. They seem to work fine. Lowell
