Re: relocation of gas tank 66 c10
Here is what we did on a 66 GMC Short Wide Bed......
This is how we started with the install: http://kieth.smugmug.com/Trucks/66-G...5088&k=DrSmCmf just click on the thumbnails to see additional pictures.. this shows the final install and changes that we made, later we modified the tank again and installed a in tank fuel pump (after burning up 4 in line pumps) http://kieth.smugmug.com/Trucks/66-G...9985&k=thrfqmV Hope this helps. Re: relocation of gas tank 66 c10
Here are pics of mine. Its from LMC. I am just getting the cab and doors on so have not gotten to the bed yet on my resto/mod. Not sure if I will go out the side or through the bed for the filler.
Let me know if you want any additional pictures.

Re: relocation of gas tank 66 c10
Grizz- that tank is just like the original one I took out of my '65 'Burb. The cutout is for the spare tire.
