Question Heater Delete Plates?

I know 67-72 factory heater delete plates are rare. Are they just as rare on the 60-66 trucks?

Re: Heater Delete Plates?

I've found the inside dash plate to be very rare. The firewall plates are frequently for sale on eBay and occasionally for sale in our Parts section.

Re: Heater Delete Plates?

Couldn't a Thrift Air inside plate be patched to make an inside delete plate?

Re: Heater Delete Plates?

They can, but they usually have a small indentation in them. The delete plate is completely smooth. I've been looking for one but I plan on doing some modification to it and I'd rather not deal with the indentation or having to fill it.

Re: Heater Delete Plates?

This is the one I received from Mark. This is the pass-thru type IF you have the delux heater de-frost set up.
