His name is Chuck!!
THat's what she called him!
Picked up this 84 short wide today. 72,000 mile original US truck from Red Bay Alabama. 305, turbo 350, 3.42 gears. Straight, rust free. Tonneau cover and new T/A's. Appraised at 15 grand back in 2002. PO installed the leather buckets and console and kept it looking pristine. Rides nice and hauls butt. Has shorty headers and dual pipes out the back. It's a keeper!! |

Re: His name is Chuck!!
Exact seat set up that mine had but yours is in leather. I like that color brown. I missed out on a 79 Z28 in that color with tan interior several years back.

Re: His name is Chuck!!
Any idea on who sells those seats or what they cost Damon. Where made by steel horse is all I've found.
The seat sits a bit high for a fat old phart like me. |

Re: His name is Chuck!!
I switched to the factory bench for the same reason. The person I got the truck from said he paid 300 for the one I had but it was cloth. I'm going to say in leather yours would be around 500-700.

Re: His name is Chuck!!
It left Red Bay back in '98 and lived in Ontario then out to the left coast. Spent a lot of time stored inside. Never winter or rain driven.

Chuck's new seat!
Good shape for a 30 year old! Now I can get in and out easier. Still need the seatcover installed. Bought from a local hotrodder for 50 bucks. You gotta luv a cheap bolt in part. |

Re: His name is Chuck!!
geezer tonite we were at a old time pottery store and I saw some beige leather for some upholstery work. That would have looked good in that truck. I was debating on buying some for my 71 but it wouldnt go with any of the colors I had in mind.
