'71 Shift Linkage vs. Longtube Headers
I'm in the planning stages of a 5.3/4L60E swap in my '71 C10. My hopes are to use the factory column shift linkage with the 4L60E, but also run full length headers. I've been considering the 2nd gen F-body swap headers but haven't found any info in regards to them clearing a shift linkage.
Are there any lsx headers that will clear a factory shift linkage? Would I be better off converting a cable with my column shift? Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: '71 Shift Linkage vs. Longtube Headers
I have the Doug Thorley THY-323Y-C headers and they do not interfere with my column linkage. My column linkage does not use the factory pivot on the frame though.

Re: '71 Shift Linkage vs. Longtube Headers
Ok, I see how that would work pretty well with headers.
