buying used doors, how to tell origin
Is there a way to tell if replacement doors are factory GM, NOS, or other when the origin is unknown?

Re: buying used doors, how to tell origin
They weigh more! (its easier to tell if its just a shell) That is how I tell, especially if they have been painted and the stickers have been removed. Also if they are mounted on the cab, aftermarket doors usually require spacers between the door and the hinges to fit correctly.
and like motornut said, tap on them if the sound cheap they probably are. -Sam
