Body dropped steering questions

First off excuse me if this question has been asked a ton, every time I search the forum I get a screen that says fatal error... Hope thats not a sign lol! So I've body dropped and z'd my 65 1 ton dually rat rod and I'm trying to get her back together. I've come to the point where I can't avoid steering issues anymore. I've heard lots of different this from lots of different places but haven't really got a straight answer yet. I know some have taken the intermediate shaft from either an astro van or full size van to solve uca clearence problems and add a hiem joint. My question is which one is best suited for my application. I'm not looking for a bolt on that only takes five minutes I understand some gabbing may be involved jus need some guidance. I also don't want to buy new shaft and u joints not because I am broke I jus enjoy traditional rat rodding by using old parts from different vehicles to build a monster lol. Thanks for the help!
