Some great ideas in there, YR! I especially like the console.

Fantastic! My '54 is currently gutted and the cab is mounted on a rotisserie I fabricated. So I've got a blank canvas.

Is your headliner just carpet over cardboard? I've toyed with fabricating a one piece headliner from 22 ga steel or even fiberglass. I've never worked with fiberglass but it seems like it would be doable.

I bought a cheap fiberglass 1 piece headliner off of eBay and then added foam and carpet and material.

This was the first interior job I tried. I learned a ton.

I like your interior, tell me about the door handles and the arm rests. I'm putting a 49-54 together and looking for ideas. Did you build the console?

The door panels, I made. The door handles are Dodge Charger, Magnum or 300 handles. They were cheap and I liked the circular shape as most of these trucks is circular shaped.

No they are aftermarket. Made for street rods. I got a smoking deal off of EBay. Normally they run around $150.

My '54 was parked out front of a Starbucks and a lady came in and asked in a loud voice, "who owns the bubble truck?"

Re: show us your interior

Since I was adding so many modern components (seat belts, gauges, seats, etc) I wanted to keep the rest of the interior simple (stock) to tie it all together so people would not notice the newer stuff as much. I still need to change out the steering wheel.
