Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
My linkage is good but the spring has no tension in it. I'm having trouble finding one online that I know for sure will fit. Here are a couple of photos of my current choke if anybody can give me a lead.
Thanks.

Re: Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
I got one a few years ago from NAPA, they had to pull the book out and find the divorced choke thermostatic spring. If you cant find it, look for the edelbrock kit 1931. You should be able to make it work.

And more!
http://quadrajetparts.com/rochester-...at-p-1060.html And FWIW it's a coil but not a spring and has no tension. |

Re: Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
I also got one at NAPA several years back. Told 'em what I needed. They went in the back, came out & handed me the box with the correct coil.

Re: Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
Correct. Bi-metal coil.
It looks like Autozone even has them. Does this look correct? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...0_167791_8627_

Re: Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
Looks like the one I have off of a stock 1971 El Camino 350 SBC. It's old... but yours if you want it.

Re: Looking for Divorced Choke Spring
Okay, Gary. Thanks. I may take you up on that. Let me see what I can find online. Autozone wanted and arm and a leg to special order one.
