rookie
hi I'm new on here I have a 1965 c10 long bed big window second owner the most I've done is buy a fleet side bed and am about to put in a 350 with a 350 trans I have a 230 with a 3 speed but was wondering if the 3 speed cross member is the same as a 350 cross member

Hey man ... Welcome aboard !!
The 3speed crossmember supports the bellhousing, essentially the rear of the engine, while the 3-speed just hangs from it. Typically, that rear crossmember is removed when converting to an auto. An auto crossmember will have to be acquired, or one fabbed up.

Welcome to the forum
Yes the bellhosing crossmember will need to be removed. Then you will need a crossmember for the rear of the TH350. For that you can use either a factory trans crossmember for a '63-'87 pickup, Suburban or 2wd K5 Blazer, or one of the aftermarket crossmembers. Either way you will have to drill the mounting holes.
