Time to ask?'s
I need to know what motor mounts I can use with the LSX mounts I have?
First picture. Can anyone post pictures are links to a stock LSX 6.0 thread on how the installed it? Will I have to cut the frame rail to make the AC work? Also have the 700 r4 transmission now will the 4l80e trans sit in the same spot? Thanks guy's.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

Seriously tho, I did an install with the same combo (sans the '71, but I'm using the 71 front running gear, so it can't be that different). Regular ol' sbc motor mounts will fit to the plates and your truck. I re-used some I had sitting around, but with how hard they end up being to access once installed, I'd get a good set of poly's if I were to do it again. The 350/700r4 combo sat different than my current setup. I moved the engine forward a tad, and even so, the length of the 4l80e required me to slide the crossmember back a touch to fit. The 700 and the 80e also use different mount styles, so you'll need to re-drill the crossmember and mount the new-style trans mount.

Re: Time to ask?'s
The passenger side adapter plate won't clear the truck A/C compressor. If you are using an automotive accessory setup, it's a non-issue. With truck accessory mounts, the compressor itself will drop into the pocket created by the bent part of the stock frame rail, but running the lines may be a challenge.

Still had to take the plasma to the frame rail to clear the lines.
