How Much should I pay for this 61 C20
found this gem in a small town farmers auction. Auction will be held Oct 2
don't really need it, but I would like it. What is the max I should pay for it? P/S bumper damage this side is ok. typical rusted sill moderate damage at rear & little dent in front fender, and hood CHROME! Small window So what do you all think?

It depends on whether it runs and drives or not. How well does it run? What engine and trans?

Re: How Much should I pay for this 61 C20
Looks to be a 235 3 in the tree. new coil and battery. fuel tank was full.
auction office was closed so I could not get the keys. Was tempted to hot wire it. LOL! I don't think I'll be back in that town until auction day. If I get there early enough might be able to here it run before the auction starts.

Re: How Much should I pay for this 61 C20
I'd say 1000 to 1500 tops just my opinion though seemed pretty rusty in the cab mounts which would mean floors also I'd think

About like said 1000-1500. Personally around my parts of Oregon you would not sell that thing for more than $1000!

Re: How Much should I pay for this 61 C20
So I just got home from flat towing my 1961 C20 26km-16Miles at 110 km/h-68 mph with no problems at all pulled real nice.
once I got it to my storage yard I installed a good battery and poured a little gas into the carb float vent hole, hit the ignition and it started right up and purred like a kitten SCORE!!! IT RUNS. Next I need to drain the old fuel out of the tank, and test the clutch & brakes As for plans for it, I have none. for now I will just stick it into my tickle trunk, and finish my SWB 1 ton dually project.

$800 is a great deal. Find a Lambrecht Chevrolet decal to slap on it and put it on Ebay and really make some cash!!!
