front axle shock mounts
ive seen shock mounts that come of of the plate that is used with the u bolts. im not sure if these can be fabbed onto stock pieces because im not sure if these are cast. i dont have a picture currently but to help identify what im talking about. it is on 79 axles and they are also where my torque bar mounts

Thanks for the link andrewmp6, my only problem with this option is that my sway bar mounts are part of my top leaf springs plate that are bolted down. If i can weld onto that plate i can modify it to work but im not sure it is cast metal or not. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=140216 its similar to this users

I have no idea if its cast or not,Maybe ask in the 4x4 part of the forum they might know better then me.But worse case you could make your own out of plate steel and weld on the shock and sway bar mounts you need.
