quick ls1 swap questions
85 c10 was a 305 truck...... Plans are to put a 5.3 with the edelbrock carb kit...... Will I have to have AC compressor swapped and relocated and radiator....I was hoping this wouls be a quick and easy swap

It's a bit more complicated than swapping one Gen 1 SBC for another. To answer your questions:
1. Keeping the A/C compressor in the stock location is a bit of a pain; you'd have to move the engine stands backward, and probably notch the frame to get clearance for the A/C lines. 2. You can probably get the radiator working fine. I'm using the stock radiator on my '72. 3. Yep, you'll need adapter plates. I made mine out of a piece of 1/4" plate ordered from McMaster.
