Cameo truck
I have come across a cameo pickup that has been disassembled and was wondering if anyone on here could give me an idea of what the bed might be worth? It is all there but is apart, the bedsides are in good condition as are the inner structures, tailgate is also good. Just an idea what this stuff is worth will be a big help.

Re: Cameo truck
Do you have all the original trim? That stuff is worth some serious coin. i had about 95% of it on my cameo bed and a guy offered me $1500 on the spot for the trim. Although i kept it for My dads cameo project.

Re: Cameo truck
I don't have any pics yet. I have not bought the truck yet. The guy wants 4000$ for the truck and all the parts. It is complete minus the tail lights. I'm just trying to figure if its worth my time and money. I don't know too much about the 55-59 trucks I'm more into 67-72, but have always liked the tri5 trucks.

Re: Cameo truck
their is lots of small parts that make it a cameo,go to one of the cameo truck sites and check his inventory. i think they make the tail lights but the spare tire carrier is usually gone and hard to find. do your homework before you buy it.

Re: Cameo truck
I am with 55dude, do a detailed inventory of what is needed and what he has. Could be he is abandoning the project because of the inavailability or high cost of parts he does not have. 4K may be a good deal unless you have to add that much to get the hard to find parts that are not repoped. Kind of like fleetside spear trim, bed with the trim holes for 500 is a good deal until you realize the trim will cost $2500+.

Re: Cameo truck
Thanks for the input. I will go back and look a little closer to see what's there or not there.
