31x105R15 on a 3/4t
Hi looking to replace the 235/75 15s with 31x10.5R15 but unsure as to clearance issues.
Truck is a totally stock 1950 GMC 150 3/4t LB. Anyone know if they will fit Cheers |

Re: 31x105R15 on a 3/4t
I don't know if they will clear on the AD, but 7" rim would be the max width and backspace would be everything.
I have 31x10.5R15's on 7" rims on the front and on 8" rims on the rear. This is on my '56 TF. The left front on tight left turns just slightly rubs the steering drag link. The rear tires need to be on 7" rims to not rub the fenders when there is a load in the bed.

Re: 31x105R15 on a 3/4t
I have this size tire on my 1959 1/2 ton. They don't rub which is good. I still have manual steering and I would recommend a narrower tire on the front. These really are a challenge to turn if the truck is not moving. On the bright side you will get a major arm workout and it could be a potential theft deterrant.
