Upgrading my seat
I'm just curious can I take a bench style from newer Chevy truck and put it in my 1963 C10 with the fuel tank still behind the seat?

Re: Upgrading my seat
Definitely. My favorite donor seat is the '88-'93 Chevy/GMC truck seat with the flip down armrest. Super comfortable, and they fit perfectly.

Re: Upgrading my seat
I will agree... I have a standard bench in my 63 from a 90? Chevy, and a 60/40 bench with the small arm rest, no head rest, in my 65. I am 6' 1" and weigh 317lbs. Both are very comfortable.

Re: Upgrading my seat
If you want head rests you can get a bench seat out of a '88-'93 Chevy suburban but there is no fold down arm rest and the seats don't fold forward.

Re: Upgrading my seat
Yes they are comfy.. I have one of that era seats in my truck also.. I am going to have to find another one to put in the 65 I just bought. The best part is the front holes line up and you just have to drill the rear holes.
