On the LS swaps, where ar you tieing the positive back into the harness? Junction Block on the Fenderwell??

Yeah I know, had mine apart too long for it to be clear. Originally, the Alternator/Battery went into the front end harness. I am going to run the LS Battery Cables on the left side, main terminal to Stater, Alternator power wire goes into the main power feed at an inline junction. I was thinking I could jumper with a 6/8 guage wire back into the harness approxiamately where the old regulator wires are on the core support. Better?

Damn! You've been waiting a minute for a reply! What I usually do, if using the factory LS battery cables, the positive has one that goes to the starter, and then a smaller one that originally went to the fuse box. I use the smaller one and get a small junction block and hook the battery cable to that, then you can power the trucks fuse box with the wire that is in the front lighting harness by hooking it to the junction block. Then hook the main power for the LS harness there too. You will need to use a wire off the ignition switch to power up the ignition relay.
