Re: before and after seat cover

Any chance you saved your orig seat cover? Truckseats on this board is looking for original templates for reproduction purposes. Your old cover would've been perfect for that. Here's hoping!

Re: before and after seat cover

Thanks guys, I repainted every part of the interior keeping all the lines but changing the color. I had the seat done at a local auto interior shop. By looking at the "show us your seat thread" I knew what would look good in my truck. I photo shopped my seat so the reupholster guys knew what to do. I wanted to have a bowtie embroidered but because of copyright laws went with an officially licensed emblem instead. And yes I did save the cover but not sure if I want it destroyed.

Wow.....that came out great WhippinSaw. Looks great with the two tone interior. Mine is also black /white, but with these NC summers I can't wait to get rid of the gloss black and go to the Pepsi fleet blue in using for the exterior. Hope its a little cooler in the summer time.

Thanks 1963c-10, the Pepsi fleet blue will look great and stay cooler in the summer, Shouldn't be to much of a problem up here. I have thought about a black interior with the white truck for about 30 years so I finally got around to doing it. Now I have an itch to go back to an all stock truck.

Re: before and after seat cover

You should check out the belts that are in my thread I just had done. They sell a repop of the original buckles and they come in like 15 different colors. USA made and less than $80 for a set.

These are OEM buckles, but he has repops that look just like these and the webbing is available in quite a few colors too. Let me know if you need his contact info.

Re: before and after seat cover

nice job on the interior. what color did you do your roof? i have a two tone interior know, but am considering taking the white further back like you did on the back of the cab.

The white was the hardest color to choose. I ended up using base white in the interior with no other colors in it at all to get the highest contrast against the black. It might look good against your blue but you are going to have to shoot test strips of different shades of white to see what looks good against the blue. If you have an auto paint shop with some knowledgeable people they might be able to help.
