Throwout Bearing -- Clips?

I'm hoping to get some advice on this... I'm finishing up a clutch job and I'm ready to install the transmission this weekend. I have the new throwout bearing but I'm confused about how it clips to the clutch fork. Are these the clips that hold it in place?

Re: Throwout Bearing -- Clips?

Those clips are for the shifter linkages.
The throwout bearing just slides on the input shaft of the transmission and the tabs of the fork sit in the race (groove) of the bearing. No clips involved.
Greg.

Re: Throwout Bearing -- Clips?

Ahhh, yes... that makes more sense. I thought there would be clips and these were all that was left in my "parts bucket".

Thanks!
