hello all, since i'm on the auto trans swap, do these trucks use 2 different floor pan covers? i may not need the huge one for the auto tranny.

If you are talking about the transmission "humps" in the cab floor, yes. The bolt-in high hump was used on all 4x4's, all 4 speeds, and most (if not all) big blocks. The small hump is an integral part of the floor (i.e. not bolted in). So if you have a high hump cab, you don't have an option of reverting to the low-hump without a lot of welding. It's very easy to convert a low hump cab to a high hump however.

And the high hump can be found with no shifter holes...but you have to look for them.

ok thanks guys, i'm gonna remove the large hump one and have the hole covered. i hope the truck megashifter doesn't sit to high, it's got a taller base and lever i think...

I just completed converting my high hump to a low hump and it's very easy. Unbolt the high hump. Now I have a parts truck so all I did was cut out the low hump cutting it wider than I needed. If you look at both floors you will see in the low hump there is a line you can follow from the stamping. Once I was close to fitting it I just ground the edges down with a grinder until it fit. Make sure when you cut the low hump out cut extra high under the dash to allow for error. Once you have it sitting where you like line up the holes in your truck where you unbolted the high hump and drill the new holes in the low hump. You may have to use a little extra sealer or insulation at the fire wall but it fits very well.
