55-59 trucks on 80's frames?

anyone got any build threads on 55-59 trucks on a 80's chevy fullsize truck frames? I have a 55 cab sitting on a 83 frame, but I want to see how everyone has done the fender and radiator support mounting, etc. Just looking for some ideas. Thanks.

i installed mine on a 70's truck frame, you can see the how i notched for the radiator support in the front. Still need to fab some front bumper brackets.

You can checkout my build tread, '55 chevy on '74 crewcab frame. Look up 55 chevy dually.

bolt the bed to the frame; that will be very helpful for placing the cab at the correct elevation.

I would say to graft the frame to a 55-59 frame and alot of headaches will go away if you are planning on lowering it at all.

Here is my frame right after I pulled the cab off:
