New Member from Greensboro - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Joined the site recently from a recommendation from Tanman6983 ( a buddy of mine who built his truck http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=585800 )Decided to go ahead with the full membership since I found so much great knowledge here. My dad finally handed down the C20 that was in our family since 1975 to me. It's been sitting in the driveway under a cypress tree for the past 10 years. I have replaced the interior with misc parts, radiator support and other rusted out parts so I can drive it. I ended up doing all new brakes and front suspension since anything that could be lubed was blown! I have not even gotten to the rusted out rockers! Man it sounds like work, but it is a member of the family and I'm happy to finally get it back together.
Here are a couple pics. I just recently had one of my friends buff it out in trade for some work on his truck. Hopefully I will be able to do some rust repair work on it soon before I will be Fred flintstone and walking on the ground when the floorpan rots through!

Welcome to the site and congrats on the aquisition of your family's truck. It's nice to keep something like this in the family. I can't wait to see as it transforms with all of your hard work!
