New member from Seattle
Hello all,
I'm in North Seattle here, gonna call myself Orville here, I don't currently own a 67 t0 72 Chevy truck but I am looking heavily for a nice 71/72 K20 and doing all the research I can on these trucks to hopefully buy wisely and informed. I am a long time motorhead, but recently became Chevy reformed, I've owned Fords and Dodges but in the last couple years got a couple different Chevys but not a truck yet. It's funny how my buddies react when I talk about getting a K20 as a daily work truck, some are like "totally awesome! go for it!" And others are more in line with the "keep your tools in your tool pile and your toys in your toy pile, you need to buy a sensible and dependable newer rig and comform like the rest of us" I added the conform part at the end of that last quote for theatrical purposes because my buddies who give that advice are wise, but at the same time they suck for not driving something cool everyday, My view is if you gotta spend X number of dollars on a truck and you could get a nicely restored classic chevy or a newer but probably not lower miled truck for the same amount of money,,, would you rather eat chuck steak or prime rib if it was the same price???? Thanks for having me aboard, this forum has already been a wealth of knowledge for my hunt for a truck |

I'm going to put up a thread of photos of a particular truck I am looking at and I'd like it a lot if members gave a review of it and how much they think its worth from a private seller to a private buyer and how much the resto may have cost. the truck is expensive but I'm not gonna say how much till I get some opinions and guesses.
I'm gonna provide a link to that thread here. Orville |
