hell froze over

well i did it, i bought a gm product!
after owning many vintage fords, a deal came up on a 55 gmc project truck so i bought it. the gentleman had it disassembled in his garage for 20 yrs. i actually had the guys phone number in my wallet for over 2 years but kept putting off calling him, then while talking with a buddy about all the times i snoozed and missed good deals, i made the call. the stars were aligned, and i bought it.
it came with several trailer loads of spare parts, a camaro clip and diff, engine, tranny, almost everything.
how could i pass it up?
my intention was to bolt it together and flip it, but we have become smitten with it.
looking forward to picking your brains out there

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
