wtb: bb 6 blade cooling fan
Does any one have an OEM 6 blade big block cooling fan and a/c clutch that they would sell me. According to my gm parts book all big blocks from 68-72 showed the same part # of 540168 for the fan. If so please post pictures and price shipped to Amarillo TX 79106 The 69-70 fan clutch part number is 3947134. Thanks guys y'all are the best.

I have an OEM 6 blade clutchless version off of a 1970, if you don't find the clutch version

Where is the part marking on the fan? At first glance I didn't see one but I pulled the fan off the truck myself so I know it's original.

I checked the fan off of my 67 small block with a/c (clutched version) and it doesn't have a part number either. I'm guessing some of them had stickers instead like some sheet metal parts.

Thanks for looking. Ok big block gurus. Who knows what an oem big block a/c cooling fan part number is, if it stamped on the fan, and how many blades does it have. Pictures would be nice. Thanks people.

I just finished restoring a correct 6-blade BB fan. It is powdercoated and I replaced the clutch with a USA thermal clutch. It is $95 + $20 S/H.

Here's pics of fan sizes. I have several BB, all the same. I don't see any part #s.
I have two for sale: 1. Restored, inspected, blasted & painted (all the original GM parts): $75 + $20 S/H. 2. Fan is inspected, blasted, powder coated. The clutch is a new thermal-USA. I will assemble with new grade 8 hardware: $95 + $20 S/H. NOTE: Can't attach pics right now---"server is busy"? |
