Widen wheel tubs question??
I need to widen my wheel tubs to fit my wheel/tire combo. Is there somewhere that makes a pre bent section that I can weld in to widen them. I do not have the capabilities or the knowledge to do it myself.

Re: Widen wheel tubs question??
How about a set of used tubs to cut a section out of? If you want perfect, new tubs are only 80 bucks from Top Banana.

Re: Widen wheel tubs question??
I bought a second set and split them adding 2 inches and just one seam to weld up. just offset the cut on the other tub the amount needed when you cut it.

I used two sets of OEM ones also to make wider ones.

Re: Widen wheel tubs question??
I bought a set of repop fenders, cut both old and new sets, welded them together for a few more inches. Keep in mind that you might need to add/move the skid strip mounting holes in the fender lips if you keep the wood bed. I added some and bent the lips to make it look stock where the strips go under.

If my truck sits lower, can the stock wheel tubs be made taller as well?

In my case, I raised the bed 1 inch in addition to widening the wheel tubs.
