Spindle bearing surface marred
When I removed my spindle needle bearings I resorted to a die grinder. Hastily I cut and marred the inside spindle surface a bit. It is in one section and a deep enough divot to feel. My new bearing pressed in tight, Is that anything I should worry about?

Your talking the needle bearing cage on the inside of the spindle hub correct.
I don't think it would be a problem its just a support for the axle, not really load bearing.

agreed. if it is just the stub shaft support needle bearings, you'll be fine. i assume its not drastically deep so as to affect the integrity of the spindle much.

Correct, just on the inside spindle itself, nothing to effect integrity and still a very tight fit. Thanks that puts me at ease!
