67 master cyl lines
Are the brake lines coming out of the master cyl the same size? I have drum to drum on my 64, and want to replace the master. And what size lines?

Re: 67 master cyl lines
I just did this upgrade to my 65. While the two ports are different sizes, I used adapters to run the original 1/4 inch line to the front, and I ran a 1/4 inch line for the rear, but adapted it down to the original 3/16 inch rear brake line where it originally tee'd off from the front line.
For the 1/4 inch section from the master to the rear 3/16 inch line, the 72 inch Poly-Armor brake line from Advance Auto was just right.

Re: 67 master cyl lines
Mike, do you have the parts numbers for the master cyl, and the adapters? And where did you buy them. I believe the lines on the truck are 3/16th inch. And do the adapters go on the master cyl. , or in the lines. Here is a pic of my old master.

Re: 67 master cyl lines
I got everything at my local Advance Auto. I do not have power brakes, so your application may be a bit different. I used the master listed for a 1967 truck-Cardone reman Part No. 10-1329. As for the adapters, I just got the kid at the counter to dig up the parts I needed to adapt it down to the 1/4 in line. Since he had the master in front of him, he just dug around until he found the correct adapters to reduce the master ports down to the fitting on the end of the 1/4 in line. The primary was threaded 1/2"X20 and the secondary 9/16"X18.
I got all the info I needed from the threads here indexed in the FAQ.
