New Guy or FNG! 1966 Pulling off boards in bed WOW!
New guy here and I have a 1966 fleetside long bed.
350 GM crate motor......soon to replace with 454 well maybe not to soon. 6 lug wheels................soon to replace with 5 lug 700R4....................... nice to have over drive. 12 bolt rear end......... going to rebuild. First off I must say this...I have a lot of respect for anyone who has restored a vehicle because pulling this bed off is time consumer. Its not helping that it has a spray in bed liner that is thick and on top of the rusted bolts. The things you do to save a few dollars. I'm trying to save my bed strips so spending hours and hours of work to save $50 story of my life but I'm having a blast working on it. anyway just checking in. |
