Three point seat belts in back of blazer
Bit of a rehash of a question i asked some weeks ago but a bit more specific. But what do people do for three point inertia belts in the back of their older blazers. 75 just has lap belts, I have a 7 and 5 year old and they would love to go in it but I need to make it safe before the wife will let it happen. When I get roll a bar fitted, I guess front belts can be affixed to the cage, but what about the back?

Re: Three point seat belts in back of blazer
There are two issues, as I see it:
Full Convertible. I would like a roll bar over the kids. Three point belts. I think I would do this for the belts (This is the third row seat from a Yukon) Notice the shoulder harness is built into the seat! |

And look, Here's a set from Craigslist!

You're amazing. Wonder how the mountings would match up - I'll probably have to fabricate some form of adaptor between the Floor and the seat but that is golden.

I would try and mount the new seat to the stock 'support'. Or whatever you call that thing that attaches to the floor. Since the Blazer/Jimmy seats are removable, you will want to use the existing mount if you can. Yeah you got a project, but man your wife will think you are awesome! |

Re: Three point seat belts in back of blazer
A project is why I got the thing in the first place Have to rip out the back first and grind out any rust, primer and paint then put down noise reduction matting of some variety. Maybe have a bed liner in the back over that.

Re: Three point seat belts in back of blazer
aagh! too late. Love the idea of caddy / yukon third row seats. they seem to be low to the ground though and this is a 75 with no footwell for the rear seats. Wondering if I will have to raise them slightly to make them comfortable.
