66 Moonshiner
Friend of mine wanted a moonshine running truck, well something that looked like a mooshiner's truck. So given the budget and the wheels on the truck and at the time he was going to flip it we decided on making the running gear nice along with the interior and just wipe the previous Enstiens's spray bomb primer job off and expose the original blue and white paint and let nature do the rest. Well come to find out someone had used a grinder to remove 90% of the paint so a coat of epoxy black primer was added.
Ill load some more later. Last edited by fencepost; 02-05-2014 at 11:45 PM. |

Re: 66 Moonshiner
Painted the fire wall, frame, and floor glossy black.
Owner had another shop do the floor pans and some other work then decided to have me finish it up. |

Re: 66 Moonshiner
The truck is actually finished on my part. The owner actually picked it up after I finished the cab and rails, he installed the motor and trans and brought it back for me to reassemble and install the bed floor. Thanks for all the comments. I need the work but anybody could build this truck in their garage or even in the back yard with a little time. Customer had very little budget and i had very little work. Made a perfect combination

Re: 66 Moonshiner
This is primer, epoxy primer, and the grey interior color for a stripe.
I cut and routered the bed floor from pine, also counter sunk the bed bolts . |

Re: 66 Moonshiner
He's going to have a really fun cruiser and beat around truck for an affordable price and if he scratches it we can touch it up really easy. As a matter of fact after he picked it up he called me back and said they had put a scratch on the corner of the bed with the trailer ramp some how. Oh well it was ment to use.
