Abandoned wrecking yard

Road trippin with LT1burb today to score a short box (he can tell you how he stole it) and then up to the Portland area to check out a guy who might have some god used stuff.

The guy happens to be a family friend who is helping the widow of a junk yard horder. The yard was closed 10 years ago and is now on a timeline to get everything off the property. All the good stuff was gone, they had the scrapper there for 2 months several months ago and they reduced the 10 acres stacked 4 cars high to muddy trails through piles of miscellaneous iron. We didn't have much time, had no idea I was going to end up here and can't wait until I can go back in the next few weeks before they scrap the rest before June.

Yes and Yes.

Lt1burb in negotiations with the seats and he purchased the slide latch that was on the blue/green one.

The Logging crummie had aftermarket windows and no OE style latches.

Re: Abandoned wrecking yard

I believe the same guy reproducing seats for the 47-54 A.D. Burbs is also reproducing them for the 55-66 burbs also. You can get the floor plates and all hardware for them too.

Re: Abandoned wrecking yard

Went thru there before they brought in the scrapper. I didn't have much time to really dig in.
