Help! Looking for Pics of Transmission Linkage

Hello everyone!, First I want to say this is a really great forum for information and cool ideas. I have been doing a lot of research and have been working on my 1966 Chevy Short bed Step side. I purchased it for $800 with no motor or transmission, but I have a SBC 305 and a TH350 that I am putting down in it. I have swapped the 3spd column out for a 1979 Chevy Van tilt auto column.
What I am needing is pics of how someone has set up their linkage from the column to the transmission?
I salvaged all of the linkage parts off of the van to install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have used this lokar product (PN: ACA-1800) in the past with great results:

It just mounts in one of the 3spd tabs from your steering column and runs down to the trans. Turns your 3speed column shifter into a automatic shifter like they were later. Only draw back in lack of indicator. However, you can get stick on indicators that can be fastened to the column to address that issue.

I used this cheap shift linkage off eBay. The only problem I encountered was that the linkage rod itself was to short to run from the column to the transmission. I ended up purchasing a length of all thread rod and using that instead. As luck would have it, at my work we had a scrap length of 5/16" stainless tubing I was able to cover the all thread with to give it a more finished appearance.

Shouldn't be hard to fab one up from linkage you already have also. Perhaps some small round stock from a hardware store to.
