Re: How Do I ?
Looks to me like a cable pull. I'd think you need to disconnect the far end of the cable, and remove the nut or clip that is holding the bezel to the dash and remove the entire cable assembly. If you can straighten the rod enough to reuse the cable, the best way to remove the knob is probably to clamp the rod in a vise, protected by wood or cardboard, and place a crescent wrench against the bottom of the knob and give it a couple of hits with a plastic hammer. All of the dash knobs on my truck as attached with JB Weld.

Re: How Do I ?
It is sitting loose on the dash with the bezel floating, I would be happy to use a clip if that is possible. The cable does pull out and is also a 3 speed switch. What kind of clip do I need to get it tight to the dash it does have treads on the shaft that comes thru the dash but without removing the nob theirs no way to get a nut on it. Thanks Doc
