69 c10 drum to disc cpp spindle
i have a 69 chevy c10 and i bought a disc brake conversion off ebay it was a mcgaughy kit but it didnt come with a spindle or brake booster/master cylinder. I was wondering if this booster/master cylinder off ebay would work good??? Also if i could use a cpp spindle 2.5 inch drop with my mcgaughy kit???
http://www.ebay.com/itm/321205648715 http://www.ebay.com/itm/380851856719 I also got 20x8.5 rims akuza oj rims with 245/40/20 tires for up front will they rub or will i have to do any modification to make them clear? i put the rim on and it looks like it might hit the front shocks when i turn them fully. |

What kind of McGaughy's "disc brake conversion" doesn't come with spindles?
You will need the 63-70 conversion drop spindles to do the swap correctly. Your 20" wheels will clear the shocks fine. Wheel backspacing will determine how they clear the fenders.

Re: 69 c10 drum to disc cpp spindle
All of the McGaughy's kits I have been looking at, both on summit racing and from McGaughy's web page are 2 separate kits if you want 12" breaks. You buy the drop spindle ($240), and you buy the 12" break kit ($300). They do sell a spindle and break kit but it is the 13" kit ($700).
