Headliner Retainer
Guys,
On my 55 Chevy 1st series at the back of the headliner support there is a number of holes drilled. Is this for a headliner retainer or just screws. I have only found headliner retainers for the center, and nothing specified for the back part of the liner You can see what I mean to the right of the pic of my interior where the headliner is going. If there is a part you can buy can someone point me in the right direction. thanks regards OL55 |

Re: Headliner Retainer
I've got a 51, but the roof looks the same inside. There is a retainer that the card board headliner goes into and that retainer screws to the holes you see. The retainer is about an inch wide.
If you can't find one, I won't be using mine. You can have it if you reimburse me for shipping. PM me if you are interested.

Re: Headliner Retainer
I own a 54. There is a trim piece that goes there and is retained by screws.
