Bench vise: is this a good one?
I need a vise for my garage....pretty soon I'll need one so I can flare my new fuel lines. What do you think of this one?
Can you suggest better up to about $150.00 dollars? http://www.sears.com/craftsman-4-in-...2&blockType=G2 |

That's a small vise I have one. For 150 you can get a very nice used Wilton, Columbian or even an older Craftsman off ebay or craiglist

4'' is fine if your working on watches or jewelry
![]() if that's all you want, stop by the house, i'll give you one my dad had like dwcsr said, look on craigslist for a bigger vise 6'' is better not that i like it, but i have one, for $69 you can't go wrong with the 6" harbor fright vise any vise will break if you hammer hard on it, harbor fright vise will break easier ![]() be prepared to spend money on a big name brand vice i paid $200 plus shipping for this woodworkers 12'' vise on ebay the guy bought it in the 80s and never installed it ![]()
