Found a 66
I mostly spend time on the 73-87 forum, but I have known about this truck for a while and I finally decided to buy it. It is not a custom cab, but it has the big rear window, 283, powerglide, and air cond. The truck has been sitting for a LONG time, but I did not want it to go to the crusher. Cool truck! Looks to me like it originally was a fleetside and was turned to a stepper...or perhaps someone just put the custom fleetside moldings on later.

Thanks guys. I am going to get it running now. It spins over, but it is not firing. I probably need to clean the points so it will fire.
I think the truck was a fleetside also. The bed looks like it was originally a different color from the rest of the truck. Is there any way to tell without actually having the model number? |

Mine did the same thing because it set for 30 years also. I put a new coil, cleaned points and plugs. It started right up. Here it is:

Gotta love that 62 barnfind, no way a car today could sit for 30yrs and be able to start up with such minimal work.
