Wondering
Would it make since to have another ECU programmed to run in my truck? Just to make sure it is performing correctly since the one I have is out of a unknow truck. It's working fine best I can tell except for the knock senor.
I also have noticed when I crank it up the check engine light blinks really fant until it sets the P0332 code. I have been wondering if this may be a ECU issue. The truck hasn't ran bad yet due to this code but I just don't like having it set all the time.

Re: Wondering
I know some guys that had a spare ecm, but when they did the math, it ended up cheaper just to have 1 ecm and a copy of HP Tuners.
The idea was to have 2 seperate tunes, and a 10 minute swap in the pit-lane would have you on the "hot" tune, which in this case was a nitrous tune. I think that idea lasted like 2 weeks. That ECM now sits in the spare's bin, and they just reflash the ECM as needed in pit-lane. Obviously its a slightly different situation, but that was their move. In direct reference to your question, I'm not sure it would benefit you at all. The only way another ecm would help, was if a physical circuit was damaged or the case was grounding out, neither of which I think represent your issue. The blinking is common on multiple misfires, so I'm not shocked that the high Kr is flashing it also.

Re: Wondering
Did you say the case (ecu) is NOT to be grounded?

Re: Wondering
What he said?
I have mine grounded to the cab since it's just sitting in the glove box. I figured it wasn't but wanted to hear it from others.
