storing a truck box??
I'm currently working on an 81 C10 short box and was wondering if it would be ok to store the truck box on end with the area for the tailgate facing up?? It wouldn't have a tailgate on it during this time. Are there any reasons I should NOT store it this way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: storing a truck box??
My only worry would be that the wind would blow it over or somehow get knocked over and wrecked. I stored mine in the drive on a wooden shipping crate I had.

Re: storing a truck box??
I've been storing one like that in my garage for more than a year. No problems so far.

Re: storing a truck box??
Sounds great. I will put a couple eye bolts into the wall and bungee chord it as a safety precaution so it won't fall over.
Should I have it sitting on an old blanket or up off the ground on wood or something? RIZ |

Re: storing a truck box??
I would set it on a couple of 4X4 pieces of wood to keep it off the ground
