Re: door weatherstripping
Look at Denee's thread. In it there is a good discussion on the weatherstripping with pictures.

Re: door weatherstripping
I just did mine this week. My doors were jacked up until I put the new ones in. Now they close great. I will take a pic when I get home. What exactly do you want to see?
One good tip I got from the instructions was to make sure that the curved part goes toward the body. Also, I got the really thick weatherstripping at first. I had to order another kind because the thick stuff wouldn't let the door close correctly and it bulged out from the door gaps. Looked terrible. Looks great now that I got the right stuff in there!

Re: door weatherstripping
no luck on that thread but it was some good reading I'm looking for pix of the out part door weatherstripping that goes around the whole door. I thought the big piece went against the door but I read that it goes opposite just want to double check before I get neck deep in it

Re: door weatherstripping
^That is indeed the wrong way. The weather strip needs to be swapped to other door and vise versa.

Re: door weatherstripping
The easiest explanation is that if it looks right, it isn't!

Re: door weatherstripping
That sucks. That happened to me when I tried to adjust my passenger door hinges. :-( Big chunk of old body work came flying out.
