Hey guys, I just bought a new grill for my 1985 GMC sierra, and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the old one off and put the new one in. Any idea?

Re: Grill install?

Uplevel grille, I assume (quad headlamps)?

There are a series of screws across the top (through the radiator support) - those should be pretty obvious.

The trick is that there is a screw on each end, on the bottom, which is obscured by the headlight bezel.

Headlight bezels are retained with two screws in the top (through the rad support) and two screws in the bottom.

Re: Grill install?

If I remember correctly, there is also one underneath the truck, centered at the bottom of the grille.

Re: Grill install?

Ah - I believe you are right.

60 GMC - can't you just look at the new grille and figure out how the old one comes out?

Re: Grill install?

Be honest with ya, the whole grill is undone and its flopin around everywhere, but its like the grill itself is too big for the radiator suuport, because it wont come out
