weatherstripping for my 55
Hey. new to this site and was wondering if anyone out there can recommend what I think is a weatherstripping issue why my doors don't shut...just bought new latches but have a feeling weatherstripping is too thick or not soft enough...anybody have thoughts?

Re: weatherstripping for my 55
Welcome to the site, reason for no response is that this is discussed a lot, as recently as a couple of weeks ago. Use the grey search box above, check the 67-72... box and do a search, probably 20 pages of responses will show up. Short answer is that you may have the WS install backwards, the way it "looks" right is not correct. You might give is some time for the rubber to compress and relax a little too. Some after market latches do not allow the mechanism to click the second time which pulls the door completely shut. Previous discussion go on for pages with pics, etc. about each possible problem and fix.
