Tire question inner-tube
Well I'm kind of guessing where to put this question so I figure this is just as good as any.
I recently picked up some L 50 14 inch tires I think the size and today's numbers would be Like a 295/70r14 My question being with a tire this wide is it best to run an innertube or just leave well enough alone. I am not real familiar with tires like this (( L-50)) So any help you can give me is appreciated |

Re: Tire question inner-tube
No tube needed. Unless it says so on the firewall. Some Mickey Thompson tires were like that.
Hope you're using them on a vehicle that won't be driven. Just for display. Rubber deteriorates over time (dry rot). Unsafe to use. The N50 tire was considered a 295 50. The L50 was a 275 50 tire. |
